I know the word "used" doesn't really have a great connotation attached to it but before you click to another article, you should give this one a good read first.
We all know that to provide the best possible service to your customers, your hair salon furniture must be top notch. However, these equipments don't come cheap and most of the time they cost quite a bit for a first time owner to be able to afford. So what does one do? But of course as when buying vintage clothing you should check the items thoroughly. Although most of the time the equipment being sold at these shops are still in excellent condition, it doesn't hurt to give it a check.
Note that these equipments are all available at very low prices and best bit is that sometimes, some of them are still under warranty. A very nice bonus indeed. But I'm sure you're asking where do they get this stuff? Well, most of the time salon owners sell their furniture to these shops when they go bankrupt or are in need of quick cash.
These stores can also refurbish stuff for you and many of their items are branded which would help add a bit of oomph to your shop. These shops can be easily found in the yellow pages or you can look and ask around your local market place. There are also many websites that specialize in selling these sorts of things. But there are pros and cons to getting your hair salon furniture through a website. Pros would include the fact that you won't have to go out to see their products and that they would deliver your order directly to you. Cons would include the fact that you wont be able to see this equipment's in person and you wont be able to inspect them even though many websites offer returns it would be a hassle to wait for the alternate one especially since time is money when you're running a business. But I guess the best bit here is the fact that some of these websites actually offer leasing and financing options as well as warranties on equipment with expensive brands. But still it is more advisable to just visit a shop so that you'd be able to get a feel and inspect for yourself the equipment that you chose. But if there are no available stores near your area then the websites are a great secondary option.
